Chele Wells is a community builder, artist, podcaster, and advocate for creativity based in Sherman, Texas. As the founder of ARTrageous Art Hub and host of Hitting The Streets Podcast, she creates opportunities for artists, small businesses, and community members to connect, grow, and thrive through art, storytelling, and meaningful experiences.

Driven by a belief that everyone deserves a place to feel seen, heard, and valued, Chele has spent years building spaces that encourage creativity, collaboration, and community engagement. Through gallery exhibitions, workshops, open mic events, artist development opportunities, and hundreds of podcast conversations, she has helped amplify local voices and strengthen connections throughout her community.

Chele's leadership is rooted in service, inclusion, and perseverance. Her own experiences with adversity have shaped her commitment to creating welcoming environments where people can express themselves, build confidence, and find a sense of belonging. From supporting an emerging artist to highlighting a small business or bringing people together around a shared cause, her focus remains the same: helping others discover opportunities, connections, and hope.

Today, Chele continues to use art and storytelling as tools for community building, believing that creativity has the power to bring people together, inspire change, and create lasting impact.

Chele is also involved in the art and culture community by serving on Sherman Community Players, Sherman Art League and Sherman Cultural District Board.

Through her work as an artist, photographer, and community advocate, Chele has received recognition for her creative achievements and contributions to the local arts community. Her work has earned awards, nominations, and honors that celebrate both artistic excellence and her dedication to strengthening arts and culture in Texoma.
